Sunshine Coast Business Council Chair Sandy Zubrinich today congratulated the new LNP State Government on its win over the weekend.
“Congratulations to the LNP and our successful regional candidates who secured a win in this weekend’s election,” Ms Zubrinich said.
“This is a pivotal time for Queensland, given decisive action is required to address the current housing crisis, accommodate the state’s continued population growth, heavy rail between Brisbane and Maroochydore and to determine the way forward to successfully host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in just eight years.
“We strongly support the new LNP government prioritising the Queensland housing crisis, as we know a lack of housing – particularly affordable housing – continues to impact everything from economic growth to workforce availability and the community’s wellbeing.
“My board and I look forward to working closely with the state representatives as we strive to bolster the Sunshine Coast economy, generate more local jobs and attract infrastructure investment to address the rapidly changing needs of our region.
