The Sunshine Coast Business Council (SCBC) today gave its qualified support to the Sunshine Coast Council’s newly launched Regional Economic Development Strategy, saying that while it was a good step forward for the region, the real test would lie in the Council’s ability to work with the community to implement the strategy’s objectives.

KEY business, education, property, health and planning organisations have met for the second time in a year to discuss how to maximise the economic benefits of the Kawana Health Precinct.

The Sunshine Coast Business Council today revealed its expectations of next week’s Sunshine Coast Council budget citing economic development, key infrastructure projects and fees related to local businesses as the high priority areas for the next financial year.
