Read More2016 has been a much better year for the Sunshine Coast. Recent reported figures suggest the Sunshine Coast is enjoying stand out economic prosperity (as measured against other Queensland regions) and in several cases, performing better than the State average.
Read MoreThe Sunshine Coast started the year with an annualised average unemployment rate of around 7.4%, one point above the state average of 6.4%. It now looks like finishing the year with a declining annualised averages of 6.7% (September) and 6.4% (October), more in line with state averages of 6.5% and 6.4% respectively.
